The Complex Systems LAB born in 2006 at the Science and Advanced Technologies Department of the University of Piemonte Orientale.
The activity of the lab ranges over different fields from environmental physics to econophysics. In particular, the group working in the ambit of atmospheric sciences investigates with special attention turbulent flows and dispersion, while the econophysics group is focused on the study of macroeconomy, financial markets analisys and bioinformatics.
To describe these complex phenomena, each group develops models and techniques essentially based on non-linear dynamics.
